Please be advised that potentially toxic cyanobacteria blooms have been identified and the town is posting advisories at Pilgrim Lake, Orleans
Avoid contact, particularly incidental ingestion of pond water that can occur during swimming. Dogs and children are especially susceptible to cyanotoxins through ingestion.
Please check APCC’s interactive map for the status of the monitored ponds. This advisory will appear on our map after 8pm this evening when the map refreshes with the latest data.
