2018 Paddle for the Bays RACE Cape Cod
Saturday, September 15, 2018, marks the 8th annual Paddle for the Bays: RACE Cape Cod, a test of speed and endurance for all levels of paddlers on paddleboards and/or kayaks. One of the most beautiful courses on the East Coast. Organized by and benefiting Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, one of Cape Cod's leading water-quality advocacy groups. Your support will help Barnstable Clean Water Coalition on their mission to restore and preserve clean water in the town of Barnstable.
New venue (Oyster Harbors Club beach)
Beach party with live music, food and drink
When: Saturday September 15th from 9am - 3pm
Where: Beach at Oyster Harbors Club, 170 Grand Island Dr, Osterville, MA 02655
Adults: Early Registration $95, Same Day Registration $110
Youth (under 16): $55 (Early Registration and Same Day Registration)
Relay Team: $240 for a 4 person team ($60 per person)
A Beach Party Ticket is included for all racers. Beach Party tickets include food/drink. Racers are able to purchase extra tickets for guests who are spectating. Beer tickets will be available for purchase on race day.

Adult Courses - 5 mile (SUP or kayak) and 10 mile loop (SUP)
Youth Course - approximately 1/4 - 1/2 mile (SUP or kayak)
All racers get a long-sleeved t-shirt and beach party ticket. First 50 registrants get a visor.
Racers can also be on a relay team:
Relay (SUP) Course - 4 person team - 1 board (Surf/SUP under 12') per team - each team member does one loop of youth course
ALL RACERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A PFD DURING THE RACE.
One loop of course is 5 miles
Youth course will be a shorter course along beach

8:15 AM: Mandatory Safety Meeting for all racers
9:00 AM: 10 Mile Course Start
9:10 AM: 5 Mile Course Start
9:30 AM: Youth Course Start
11:30 AM: Relay Course Start
12:00 PM: Awards
Beach Party: 10 AM - 3 PM
Silent Auction: 10 AM - 3 PM

- Your relay team has one of three chances to win the Relay Top Prize Package. Teams winning the relay race, the best costume, and top fundraising team will be entered into a drawing to win the top prize package.
