Bayside Explorers is a hands-on, marine discovery program for families that incorporates exploratory field experiences with natural history lessons on the local marine environment. This educational outreach program allows participants to get their hands and feet wet using seine nets, minnow traps, and plankton tows to collect marine organisms in East Bay off Dowses Beach in Osterville. Back on the beach, Three Bays educators assist in identifying collected organisms to educate families on the importance of the local marine ecosystem. Bayside Explorers is offered weekly throughout the summer.
