Cyanobacteria Alert – August 20 2024

August 20, 2024 In APCC Cyanobacteria Alerts

As of Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 4:35PM both Keyes Beach and Kalmus Beach (ocean side) are closed for swimming due to exceedances of Enterococci Bacteria. Due to this exceedance, this beach does not meet 105 CMR 4445.00, Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches, and is required to be closed to swimming.

Beach closure signage will be posted.

Re-samples were collected and results will be shared once available.
