State environmental officials are tightening restrictions on Title 5 septic systems as water bodies across the Cape continue to struggle due to nitrogen pollution. Barnstable County Wastewater Director Brian Baumgaertel joins Sunday Journal this week to discuss the new changes, as well as what financial assistance is available for homeowners through the county’s Aquifund and other resources.
